When Bico needed another meeting room and lacked planning permission, they decided to stack some barracks on top of their roof as a temporary solution. The client wanted the new space to inspire an “everything is possible” attitude, and commissioned OP to come up with a fitting visual installation. Our solution was to create an image which bridges all aspects of Bico’s business – from large enterprises to custom interior solutions and furniture production – through a familiar device: the Bico logo. The image was printed directly onto plywood, and the front face of the ’o’ was left bare to reveal the wood beneath.
